Here are five things for your Tuesday morning in Manhattan Beach:
- Gourmet food trucks will be at Mira Costa High School, 1401 Artesia Blvd., Manhattan Beach, Tuesday, from 5 to 9 p.m. for a "FUNdraiser" dinner. A portion of all sales will go to benefit students at the high school.
- Surf legend Dewey Weber will come to life when author Gerry Derloshon brings his biography about Weber, "Little Man on Wheels," to Pages, 904 Manhattan Avenue, for a reception, beginning at 5 p.m. Sunday. - Online registration for fall Manhappenings classes has begun. The hard copy of the guide, which lists city-sponsored recreational classes and activities, has not reached residents yet, however, they can view the activity guide online or download a copy on the MANHAPPENINGS webpage.
- City Council will hold a public session Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m. to discuss meeting management and open government Initiatives. The public is invited; 1400 Highland Avenue in City Council chambers. The meeting will be webcast live.
