'Brat Packer' Anthony Michael Hall Charged with Attacking Playa Del Rey Neighbor Over Gate Dispute

The actor allegedly shoved his neighbor to the ground and breaking his wrist, according to police.

PLAYA DEL REY, CA -- Former 'Brat Pack' star Anthony Michael Hall is facing charges of attacking his Playa del Rey neighbor and breaking his wrist, authorities said.

The actor, 48, was charged on Nov. 17 with one count of felony battery and an allegation that he inflicted great bodily injury on Richard Samson on Sept. 13. Hall allegedly shoved Samson to the ground and broke his wrist, according to authorities.

Gossip website, TMZ.com posted a security footage allegedly showing the actor shoving Samson. The incident started over the gate to the condo complex being left open, according to authorities.

Even though he was charged, Hall has yet to surrender to authorities. He faces up to seven years in prison if convicted.

In 2011, Hall was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace when a neighbor said the actor had threatened to beat him.

Hall has starred in films including "Sixteen Candles," "The Breakfast Club" and "Weird Science."
