Many in Marina Del Rey Still Without Power Following Sunday Outage
An equipment failure was to blame for the outage.

MARINA DEL REY, CA -- Nearly 430 customers in Marina Del Rey were still without power Monday after an outage Sunday evening.
The outage started at around 6:10 p.m. Sunday and initially affected 157 customers, Southern California Edison spokeswoman Mary Ann Milbourn said. The number climbed to 427 customers at around 3:20 a.m. Monday when power went out for an additional 270 customers, she said.
The cause of the outage was a failed underground equipment, Milbourn said. Most of the outage occurred Bora Bora Way east of Via Marina, she said.
