Sunny Afternoon, Sunset Series Races and Click It
Boating columnist Paul M.J. Suchecki writes about the Sunset Series races in Marina del Rey, which apparently is a great way to start racing.

Today is May 23. It is the 143rd day of the year. We are under a waning gibbous moon. Sunset will occur about 7:55 p.m. Here are five things to know:
1. The National Weather Service forecast for this afternoon calls for mostly sunny skies with a high near 64 degrees with patchy fog after 11 p.m. and an overnight low around 53 degrees. Forecasters expect patchy fog before 11 a.m. Tuesday with gradual clearing and a high near 64 degrees.
2. Boating columnist Paul M.J. Suchecki in his latest column takes a look at the Sunset Series sailboat races that take place each Wednesday and provide a great start for sailors interested in racing. More details right here.
3. Don't forget, the "Click It or Ticket" campaign targeting seat belt scofflaws starts today and runs through the Memorial Day holiday. More details right here
