Sunny Afternoons, Father's Day and Uncle Darrow's

The National Weather Service says it will be sunny this afternoon and on Father's Day, too.

Today is June 18. It is the 169th day of the year. We are under a waning gibbous moon. Sunset will occur about 8:09 p.m. Here are five things to know:

1. The National Weather Service forecast for this afternoon calls for mostly sunny skies with a high near 67 degrees with increasing clouds tonight and an overnight low around 58 degrees. Forecasters said it should be cloudy to start Father's Day, but will gradually become mostly sunny with a high near 64 degrees.

2. Speaking of Father's Day, we've compiled a little Father's Day piece with its history, some facts and figures and tips on where to go. Check it out right here.
