This Week: Poncho Sanchez Concert, Food Trucks, Freshwater Marsh Tour

Here are five things to get your week started in Marina del Rey:

1. The Marina del Rey Summer Concert Series continues on Saturday with a performance by Poncho Sanchez beginning at 7 p.m. in Burton Chace Park. There are only three concerts left in the summer concert series. 
2. The Beach Eats food truck event returns again this Thursday at Mother's Beach in Marina del Rey. Multiple food trucks will be on hand serving from 5-9 p.m.
3. The Friends of the Ballona Wetlands will lead a guided tour of Freshwater Marsh near Playa del Rey on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. Participants will have the chance to learn about the native birds and plants that inhabit the area. More information can be found here.

5. Monday will see clouds and fog in the morning with the sun gradually coming out in the afternoon, the National Weather Service predicts. Highs will remain relatively comfortable at 70 degrees with an overnight low of 63 in Marina del Rey.
