2 Residents, 4 Pets Displaced By Martinez House Fire
Fire crews arrived to see furniture that had caught fire and a blaze that had extended into the home's attic, according to Con Fire.
MARTINEZ, CA — Contra Costa County Fire Protection District crews extinguished a one-alarm fire that displaced two people, three cats and a dog in Martinez late Sunday night, according to fire officials. The blaze was first reported at 11:08 p.m. in the 2200 block of Minaret Drive, Fire Capt. Lisa Martinez said.

Crews at the scene called for the home to be boarded up shortly before midnight, but no exact containment time was immediately provided.
