Antioch Police Lock Down East 6th And A Streets
Residents should avoid East 6th And A Streets, the scene of a police action.
ANTIOCH, CA —Police shut down the area around East 6th and A streets on Tuesday, warning residents to avoid the area as officers conducted an active investigation.
Two Antioch police officers were seen aiming their firearms at a home on East 6th Street as police put the block on lockdown, according to the Antioch Herald.
SWAT teams later escorted three people out of the house, the Herald reported. A Brentwood Police Department BearCat armored rescue vehicle was also on scene.

During the standoff, two women crossed police tape, prompting a confrontation with officers. One woman was briefly detained, handcuffed, and placed in the back of a patrol vehicle before being released, according to the Herald.
