Description: Anthony Gavin will speak about his experience following John Muir's footsteps from fruit rancher, family man, and writer to father of the National Park service.

Did you know that Muir's writings convinced the U.S. government to protect Yosemite, Sequoia, Grand Canyon and Mt. Rainier as national parks? 

This film has been showing to standing room only crowds throughout the bay area, here is your chance to see this film at your local library.
