Classic Soul Comes To The Campbell Theater

The classic sounds of soul will waft from the rafters of the Campbell Theater on Saturday, Aug. 11, as Johnny T and Alen Revelo combine to sing songs by Sammy Davis, Jr., Marvin Gaye, Nat King Cole, Frankie Valli and more.

The show, "You and I - A Salute To Cherished Songs and Icons of Yesteryear," is part of the Summer Series at the Campbell, put on by the  Willows Theater Company and Esses Productions.

Johnny T and Revelo are part of the group Top Shelf, which performs classic do-wop and Motown hits throughout the Bay Area.

The series continues every Saturday night through August with Comedy Night on Aug. 18 featuring the double bill of young standup comics David Studebaker and Ellis Rodriguez, and concluding on Aug. 25 with Drew Harrison's celebration of the life and music of John Lennon.
