Diablo Post Office Damaged in Hit-and-Run Crash
No injuries were reported, and the post office remained open for business Wednesday.

Authorities are attempting to locate a motorist who drove into a post office in unincorporated Danville and then fled the scene Wednesday morning, a CHP officer said.
The hit-and-run crash was reported around 7:35 a.m. at the Diablo Post Office, located at 1701 El Nido, California Highway Patrol Officer John Fransen said.
A car crashed into the side of the post office, damaging the building and some of its electrical and water lines, Fransen said.
He said the car, believed to be a blue BMW, was driven away afterward and has not been located.
No injuries were reported, and the post office remained open for business Wednesday.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has information on the car involved is asked to call the Contra Costa County-area CHP office at (925) 646-4980.
