• Martinez City Council Finalizes Negotiation Agreement With Proposed Marina Developer (claycord.com) — Martinez’s long-struggling marina is a step closer to a full makeover after the City Council approved an exclusive negotiating agreement with Tucker Sadler Architects. Over the next two years, the firm will refine a privately financed plan for new slips, seawall repairs, and a mixed-use waterfront district, while the city expects to save operating costs and eventually gain new tax revenue and amenities.
