Downtown Merchants Come To The Aid Of The Brock Family
$800 raised for family who lost "the Christmas House" in a fire last month.
Anne Mobley, owner of , organized a fundraiser for the Brock family, who last month. As a result, the family will be presented with a check for $800, as well as some gift certificates.
In all, nine downtown merchants donated 10 percent of their proceeds from Jan. 27 and 28 to the Brock family. Those merchants are:
- (plus $100 gift certificate from WRB)
- (plus $5 gift certificate from MSS)
In addition, is donating a free dinner for the family.
