Driver Seriously Injured In Rollover Crash On Hwy 4 In Martinez
The driver of a white Ford Ranger pickup truck lost traction and rolled near the Alhambra Avenue exit.

MARTINEZ, CA — A man was hospitalized with major injuries on Monday morning after his pickup truck rolled on state Highway 4 in Martinez, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck was reported about 10:45 a.m. on westbound Highway 4 near the Alhambra Avenue exit, where the white Ford Ranger lost traction and rolled, the CHP said.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the truck. He suffered major injuries and was taken by ambulance to a hospital, according to the CHP.

There were no passengers in the truck and no other injuries were reported. The road was initially closed after the wreck but reopened about 12:25 p.m.
