Escaped East Bay Shoplifter Caught By Cops
BREAKING: 24-year-old Tommy Walker of Concord allegedly tried to steal clothing and a backpack from a Big 5 Sporting Goods store.

EAST BAY, CA -- A man who initially got away after trying to steal merchandise from a sporting goods store in Concord on the morning of Jan. 22 was tracked down and arrested later in the day, police said.
According to police, the suspect was attempting to steal clothing and a backpack from the Big 5 Sporting Goods store located at 2689 Clayton Road in Concord. When confronted by store employees, the suspect pushed them out of the way and fled, police said.
Officers arrived on the scene at about 11 a.m. to search for the suspect. Police eventually found the suspect walking on Willow Pass Road and arrested him.

The suspect was later identified as 24-year-old Tommy Walker of Concord.
