High Water and Cold Weather
Plus, a cat food drive, blues at The Station, new potential parks, and more.

It's TUESDAY, May 17. The rain continues to fall, the weather continues to be a little cold, sun worshippers are complaining, cold weather fans are happy again; weather is the ultimate anarchy, for there is no control any of us have over the end result. Still, we endure, and even celebrate, the outcome on a daily basis. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to those in the southern states, who are enduring yet another bout with high waters and flooding. I've heard many times from my southern relatives that they would much rather put up with floods and hurricanes than the occasional earthquakes we have here. When it comes to local disasters, the grass is apparently not any greener.
