Letter To The Editor: Gov. Brown's Failures

Patch user Donald Pallotta expresses his frustration with Gov. Jerry Brown and his policies.

Gov. Brown's failures from a non-partisan point of view:

1. A bullet train costing billions that we cannot afford or justify use of (it doesn't even go all the way through).

2. A tax plan to bail out the state that has little to no hope of passage (wait til we see how broke the state really is when it fails - we haven't seen program cuts like the draconian cuts we are going to see.)

3.The extortion of taxpayers with regard to hidden dollars in State Parks accounts - they made us think that there was no money for parks anymore and that closures were unavoidable (so we made private donations to keep them open)

AND NOW 4. a plan to degrade Delta water quality by shipping enormous quantities of water to Central and Southern Ca. via Peripheral Canal Tunnels -then turn around and tax us "northerners" for all the benefits the developers and water-wasters in LA will reap benefit from.

Why again did I vote for him again?Β
