Martinez Chamber Members Invited to Host Mixer in 2014

At the end of November, the Martinez Chamber of Commerce will select its hosts for the Monthly Business Mixers in 2014.

Business owners who would like to host a mixer in 2014 are asked to submit their request by Nov. 22.

The chamber is introducing a new concept this year to make the events more inviting for members; to see a collaboration of at least two businesses co-hosting a mixer.

"Perhaps your business location is too small or you would like to share the expense of mixer," the chamber said in a news release. "This would be a great way for more businesses to showcase their products and/or services."

Guidelines for Mixers include:

• Second Thursday of the month from 5:30-7:30pm
• Appetizers for 30 - 40 people

Chamber provides beer and wine.
