Martinez Home Catches Fire
BREAKING: Contra Costa County firefighters responded to find the side of a single-family home on fire.
MARTINEZ, CA — Firefighters have knocked down a one-alarm residential structure fire in Martinez this afternoon, a Contra Costa County Fire Protection District marshal said. The fire was reported in the 1000 block of Delacy Avenue at 12:27 p.m., according to Fire Marshal Robert Marshall.
Crews arriving on scene found the side of a single-family home on fire and quickly knocked it down.
The extent of the damage is currently unclear, but there have not been any reports of injury, according to Marshall.
