Martinez House Fire Sends 2 To Hospital

MARTINEZ, CA — Two people were hospitalized Thursday night following a house fire in Martinez, fire officials said.

The fire broke out about 7:41 p.m. in the 4300 block of Arthur Road.

One person was rescued from the home by firefighters and two adults were taken to a hospital, according to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District. Their conditions were not available.

The fire was extinguished within 17 minutes. Fire officials said the blaze is under investigation.
