Martinez Rules the Bay To Breakers Race
Many Martinez runners cross the finish line in the top 50.

A dozen runners from Martinez were among the first 50 to cross the finish line in the race.
Chris Mocko placed first in the Male 20-20 Division, coming in 25th overall, with a time of 37:55 minutes.
Just behind him was Crosby Freemon, 26th overall, followed by Leif Anderson at 28th, both with times of 37:55.

JT Service, 29th, in the Male 30-39 Division, had a time of 37:56, as did Carl Dargitz (30th) and Kota Reichert (31st), both in the Male 20-29.
Coming in at 37:57 was Mario Mendoza (32nd), Phil Reid (33rd), Sergio Reyes (34th), Carlos Siquieros (34th), Jacob Petralia (35th), and Keith Hankins (36th). All but Siquieros were in the 20-29 Division. He was in the 30-39 Division.

There were 43,397 runners registered in the race; not quite half of them were male. Ridouane Harroufi, of Morocco, came in first, in 34:26 minutes.
