Morning Fog Alert For Bay Area Bridges And Highways
Drive extra carefully this morning due to lowered visibility.

The California Highway Patrol has alerted drivers about foggyΒ conditions on Bay Area bridges and highways early this morning.
A fog advisory was issued for the Bay, Carquinez andΒ Benicia-Martinez bridges at 12:10 a.m.
The CHP reported dense fog on the Bay Bridge, requiring extraΒ signage for drivers.
A fog advisory for San Mateo County was issued at 1:11 a.m., whileΒ a heavy fog alert was in place at 1:08 a.m. for a section of northboundΒ Interstate Highway 280 around Edgewood Road near Redwood City.
The CHP said visibility on Highway 280 is limited to 10 to 15 feetΒ because of heavy fog.
