Police Log - Armed Robbery, And A Seriously Trashed House

August 18

Armed man arrested – A man was arrested for suspicion of burglary, being under the influence of controlled substances, and possession of methamphetamine on Midhill Drive after police say he robbed a resident at gunpoint.

Raap music – A home on Euclid Drive near Raap Drive was the scene of a loud party and complaints from the neighbors.

A pile with no style – Neighbors on Pine Street complained of a pile of rugs and other garbage piled in front of a house for over a week.

More than the dirt was gone – A woman reported that items she had in her trunk before having her car washed at Autotopia on Alhambra Avenue were gone after the car was washed. When she complained, she reported that the employees were “very defensive.”

When you don’t need people – A man was reported screaming and yelling at no one in particular on Orleans Drive and Arana Drive.

August 19

When groceries aren’t your friends – A man on Tavan Estates Drive complained that his home has been egged, TP’d, and most recently 50 loaves of bread were tossed all over the front yard.

And the last laugh goes to. . . – A prankster on Wildcroft Drive was phoning 911 multiple times from an unregistered cell phone, asking for a bus and laughing. AT&T faxed the name of athe phone’s last known subscriber, and police were able to determine the latitude and logitude of the caller to within 57 meters.
