Shoulder Burn – Someone lit several fires alongside Highway Four between Pine Street and Alhambra Avenue.
Car Thief Caught – Police found and arrested a man in a stolen car parked behind the John Muir Inn.

Doing What They Shouldn’t – A person on Foster Street reported two men and a woman “messing with cars” on Carquinez Scenic Drive.

When Trees Turn Mean – A resident of Canyon Way reported that a tree had fallen on the house and car, and brought down a power line. No one was injured.
Long Distance Larceny – A person in Slidell, LA reported that someone cashed a check using their account at the Lucky Store in Martinez. It is believed the suspect was caught on video.
Suspicious Solicitation – Two men came to the door of a Heavenly Drive residence and asked if the owner wanted to sell the scrap metal in his side yard. The owner got suspicious because the scrap metal cannot be seen from the street. The men had asked his wife the same thing the day before.
Holy Roadway – An Elderwood Drive resident reported a large hole in the road on Alhambra Avenue near Elderwood.
Mystery Machete – A store owner on Main Street reported a shopping cart in the doorway of a nearby abandoned building containing a large machete.
Auto Peeking – A man was reported peering into cars along Center Avenue and Vine Hill Way.
If He Had a Hammer – A resident near Hidden Valley Park reported hearing a series of loud banging noises coming from the park.
FEB. 26
Not Likely to Ride – A man described as possibly drunk was seen hitchhiking at the eastbound ramp of Highway Four and Alhambra Avenue. Vehicles were serving so as not to hit him.
Car Wrapping – A man was seen putting Saran Wrap on a car on Muir Road and attempting to break in.
