Burglary – A home was burglarized on Menesini Place.

House Fire – A fire was reported in the Regency Plaza apartments on J Street.

License to Steal – A license plate was stolen from a car on Brown Street, another from a car on Appalachian Drive.

No Tip Either – A woman was cited for leaving Carrow’s Restaurant without paying her bill.

Stolen Car – A rental car was stolen on Forsythia Way.

Egging Her On – A woman’s car was egged by teens as she drove past the downtown Safeway. Later that day, some teens were seen throwing lemons at cars from the train trestle on Howe Road. 

No Direction, Please – A man was seen directing traffic on Berrellessa Street.

MAY 7

Peeping Tom – A man was seen peering into windows on Pleasant Hill Road East.

More Teen Mischief – A group of teens were seen throwing items over the railing on the Pine Street overpass.

And Even More – Two young boys were seen on Vine Hill Way setting leaves on fire and stomping them out.

MAY 8

Hit and Run – A car was struck in the parking lot of Grace Episcopal Church.

Assault with Deadly Weapon – Someone was assaulted with a knife outside of the Marina Market on Escobar Street.

Child Alone In Car – A baby reportedly was left alone in a car in the Walmart parking lot.

Still No Tip – The woman who was arrested at Carrow’s the day before for not paying her bill returned and still refused to pay her bill. She was with another woman who was described as “confrontational.”

Assault – Someone was assaulted on the bocce courts at North Court Street.

MAY 9

Petty Theft – Medication, CDs and other items were stolen from an unlocked car on Thistle Court.

Deer Vs. Vehicle – A car hit a deer at the intersection of Shell Avenue and Harbor View Drive. Another man called his wife about a deer hitting his car on Highway 24.

Teens With Guns – A group of teens were seen with a rifle or shotgun on Foster Street.

Broken Window, Bleeding Hand – An altercation over a phone led to a man smashing the window at Natural Foods on Ferry Street with his hand, causing an injury. The man was arrested.

Grab and Run – A man reportedly a box full of money hanging on the wall at Baskin Robbins on Arnold Drive and drove away.

WTP? – Employees at La Tapatia on Main Street reported finding an object in the kitchen that looked like a hockey puck with red lights flashing. 

Locked In – An employee reported that someone put a padlock on one of the gates to a yard on Mococo Road and locked him in.

MAY 10

Parking Lot Camping – An RV was parked in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Palisade Drive and the occupants appeared to be camping.

Stolen Car – A car was stolen from the parking lot of the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center on Alhambra Avenue.

MAY 11 

Smash and Grab – A lunch box and wallet were stolen from a car in the parking lot of the County Jail.

A Clean Getaway – Clothes left on the porch for the cleaners to pick up were stolen from a home on Torrington Court.

Scam Solicitor – A man approached a homeowner on Blue Ridge Drive, saying he was from AT&T and PG&E, and was doing a survey about home security systems.

Burglary – A home on Alhambra Way was broken into and a jewelry box, watches and makeup were stolen.

Petty Theft – A package of computer games was stolen from a porch on Providence Drive.

MAY 12

Feuding Farmers – A fight between vendors broke out at the Farmers Market on Court Street.

Hay, Would You Move – Hay bales were blocking the road on Morello Avenue.
