Police Log — Orange Assault and Hairless Driveway

APRIL 1

Petty Theft - $96 was reported stolen from a purse at the White Rabbit Boutique on Main Street.

Petty Theft – Tools and equipment were stolen from the Regency Plaza Apartments on J Street.

Tie Dyed Traffic Hazard – A man in a purple tie dyed T-shirt and shorts was reportedly walking numerous times into traffic at Alhambra Avenue and F Street.

High in Forest Hills – Three teens were reportedly smoking marijuana near the volleyball court of Forest Hills School on Alhambra Avenue.

APRIL 2

Two Wheel Magic -  A motorcycle driver was reportedly practicing “tricks” at the warehouse on Marina at Tarantino Drive.

Shady Stuff on Shady Glen – A hanging noose and a makeshift shack was reported on the fire trail near Shady Glen Drive.

Theft from Vehicle – A GPS device, compact discs and house keys were stolen from a locked car parked at Walmart on Arnold Drive.

Attempted Mirror Theft – Also at the Walmart parking lot, a man was seen trying to take the mirror off of a woman’s car. He drove off in a gray van with a woman inside.

APRIL 3

High Volume Video Game – A loud video game was being played on Palm Avenue.

Safe Entry? – A citizen reported loud banging, hammering and drilling coming from inside a bank on Center Avenue.

Fruit Assault – A resident on Parkway Drive reported someone throwing an orange at her home.

APRIL 4

Stolen Car – A car was stolen overnight on Fountainhead Court.

No Fare – Someone fled a taxi at Main and Castro streets without paying the fare.

Hairless Driveway – A resident on Sequoia Court reported that the driveway was vadalized with hair-removal cream and permanently damaged.

APRIL 5

Up on the Roof – A man was arrested after being reported on the roof of a home on Castro Street.

In the Act – Two men were seen reportedly trying to break into vehicles on Fig Tree Lane. Both men were wearing dark hoodies.

Scoot – A group of teenagers reportedly were riding around the campus of the Martinez Adult School and refused to leave when asked.

Tailgate Party Car Wash – Two men were reported at the 7 Flags Car Wash on Alhambra Avenue, sitting in the rear by the vacuum cleaners drinking beer with the trunk open.

Rodent Celebrity – Three men were seen at Security Public Storage on Muir Station Road shooting a video of a rat.

Window Knocking – A Robinson Street resident reported that someone was knocking on all of the windows at the residence.

APRIL 6

Lock and Roll – A resident of Warren Street requested a locksmith to rekey a home, and asked the person who showed up for the task for identification. That person then turned around and drove off.
