Police Log - Stealing Recycling and Several Smash and Grabs

August 10

Serious about recycling – A woman was interrupted by the property manager at Muir Wood on Center Ave. going through the recycling bins. When he tried to confront her, she reportedly waved a pair of bolt cutters at him and drove off in a truck loaded with items from the dumpster.
Smash and Grab – A car parked on Ferry Street had its right rear window smashed and a set of keys were stolen.

Convertible damaged – A car with a convertible top was slashed on Holiday Hills Drive.

Stolen car recovered – A car reported stolen in June was found at the Plum Tree Apartments on Maywood Lane.

Not What’s For Dinner – A white van is reported on Ulfinian Way and Harbor View Drive, with “Mom’s Choice Meats” on the side, and a woman reportedly trying to sell meat without a permit.

Grab, no smash – A laptop and some brake shoes were stolen from an unlocked car at the Bocce Courts on North Court Street.

August 11

Smash and grab – A car on Fig Tree Lane had the rear driver’s side window smashed and a tool bag with tools was stolen.

Oh, one more thing… - A woman pulled away from the gas pumps at Tower Mart on Howe Road and forgot to remove the gas nozzle, damaging the gas pump.

License to steal – A license plate was stolen from a car on Fountainhead Court.

Donuts again – A red Mustang is reported doing donuts in a parking lot on Arnold Drive.

August 13

Bicycle thief – A bike valued at $1000 was stolen from a garage on Blue Ridge Drive.

Parked and apparently forgotten – An orange truck with black and yellow stripes was reportedly parked on Willow Street for two weeks in the same location.

Truck, meet fence –A man was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his truck went over the center divide at the S curve on Marina Vista and ran into the fence.

Sampson, meet Delilah – A report of someone cutting someone else’s hair inside the Shell Credit Union on Pacheco Boulevard.

Bushed – A man is reportedly lying in the bushes in a home on Heavenly Drive.
