Police Searching for 'At-Risk' Antioch Man
Wayne Carter, 50, walked away from a care facility on Johnson Drive at about 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Antioch police have issued an alert for a missing man who was last seen Wednesday morning without his shoes on and is considered "at risk."
Wayne Carter, 50, walked away from a care facility on Johnson Drive at about 8 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
He is considered at-risk because of his limited mental capacity and because he is unable to communicate. He is also diabetic, and has medication he needs to take, police said.
Carter was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with cartoon characters on it, black shorts, and black socks without shoes. He is described as a black man standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. He is balding and has brown eyes.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Antioch police at (925) 778-2441.
