What The Heck Is There To Do This Weekend?
Martinez Patch is here to help you leave the couch, leave the computer, and get out and about this weekend.

Around my house, my spousal unit asks pretty much the same question each Friday: "what do you want to do this weekend?" And I, being the unprepared slouch that I am, rarely have an answer much beyond "uh, whatever you want to do." Which is the kind of answer that can get you in trouble.
To help you avoid that scenario and keep your home harmonious, Martinez Patch is pleased to provide you with a list of possible things to do this weekend in and around town. You're welcome.

She returns to Armando's this Friday for her usual 4:30 to 6 p.m. time slot (no cover, discounted drinks), but is very proud to debut her band, Sin Silver and the Avenue, at 8 p.m. The band is featuring mostly original songs, some of which are featured on her new CD. If you have yet to see her, make it a point to catch some or all of the Armando's show this Friday.

Eros, A Celebration of the Human Body
I've Been Framed is featuring a display of photographs and paintings starring the human form in an unclothed state. These works are tasteful, elegant and definitely worth a look. I've Been Framed is located conveniently near the entrance of Waterfront Park, so if you're planning a walk that way, consider stopping in on the way there or back.
The weather brings the crowds, the crowds bring more vendors, more vendors bring more crowds... it's a circle of life thing, and it's working very well. The now year-round Farmers Market on Main Street is a great place to meet friends, hear live music, and find a variety of food, with a focus on fresh, locally grown produce. But you can also find seafood, grass-fed beef, hand made soap, baked goods and, of course, kettle korn. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
