Mendocino County Jail bookings: Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025 (ukiahdailyjournal.com) — Recent Mendocino County jail bookings list arrests from Laytonville, Ukiah, Willits, Fort Bragg, Leggett and beyond, detailing suspected offenses from DUI and drug sales to burglary and weapons charges. All are noted as allegations only, and residents are reminded they can request follow-up reporting once cases are resolved.
   

2. Lineup announced for 2026 Ten Mile Creek Revival in Laytonville • The Mendocino Voice (mendovoice.com) — Music fans in Mendocino County can start planning for the 2026 Ten Mile Creek Revival, a three-day festival June 26–28 at Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville. The event continues the spirit of the beloved Kate Wolf Music Festival, with headliners like The Brothers Comatose, AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Iris DeMent, and Paul Thorn plus camping, kids’ activities, and wellness offerings along Ten Mile Creek.
   

3. Ukiah nonprofit awarded $1 million to expand rural mental health in Mendocino County • The Mendocino Voice (mendovoice.com) — A Ukiah-based nonprofit just secured a $1 million grant to bring mobile mental health services directly into Mendocino County’s most remote communities. Over the next three years, Tapestry Family Services will send therapists out in a Sprinter van, expanding youth counseling and parent-child therapy beyond Ukiah and Fort Bragg to families who’ve struggled with distance, cost, and stigma.
   

4. Telling the story of Mendocino County's largest natural lake took a bit of magic • The Mendocino Voice (mendovoice.com) — A new book, “Mendocino Refuge: Lake Leonard & Reeves Canyon,” uncovers the little-known story of Mendocino County’s largest natural lake and the people who lived around it. Author Dot Brovarney weaves Pomo history, environmental science, and rare photographs into a portrait of this privately owned, remarkably pristine landscape west of Redwood Valley. Locals can find the award-winning book in many Mendocino County bookstores and museum shops.
