Bay Area Blood Donors Can Win A Signed Warriors Basketball

The Stanford Blood Center is offering a prize drawing for a basketball signed by several Warriors' players and San Jose Earthquakes tickets.

MENLO PARK-ATHERTON, CA — There will be a drawing for the donor center location in Menlo Park May 23-26, where the winner will receive a signed Warriors basketball.

The prize ball is signed by several key role players, including Buddy Hield, Brandin Podziemski, Gary Payton II, Kevon Looney, Moses Moody and Trayce Jackson-Davis.

There is another drawing that started May 1 and ends May 30 for an Earthquakes VIP experience for the donor center locations in Menlo Park for four field level seats to the San Jose Earthquakes, VIP parking, on-field warmups, an autographed item and access to the Sky Lounge where free food and nonalcoholic drinks will be provided.

There is a significant need for all blood types, especially type O. Due to increased travel, Summer is often a slow time for blood donations. The Stanford Blood Center is offering this incentive to help ensure there is a stable blood supply.

The Stanford Blood Center, a community blood center that supplies blood to multiple Bay Area hospitals, was created in 1978 at the Stanford University School of Medicine.

Other donor center locations are in Mountain View, Campbell and Dublin.
