Construction Burglar Nabbed In San Mateo County, $5k In Stolen Tools Recovered: Police
Police said a community tip ultimately led to an arrest, but one suspect remains at large.
MENLO PARK, CA — Police said they recovered stolen tools early Thursday morning that had been taken from a home construction site in Menlo Park.
At around 4:53 a.m. on Thursday, Menlo Park Police Department officers said they received a report from a resident reporting they saw suspicious people in the yard of a home under construction on the 1000 block of Ringwood Avenue.
Officers said they responded and quickly found Jose Quintanillaguevara, 25, of Redwood City with a car containing $5,000 worth of recently stolen tools from the construction site.

Police said they booked Quintanillaguevara into the San Mateo County Jail.
A second suspect fled the area and was not found, according to MPPD officers.
