• Mass. court hears arguments in lawsuit alleging Meta designed apps to be addictive to kids (nsjonline.com) — Menlo Park–based Meta is under intensified legal scrutiny as Massachusetts’ highest court hears arguments that Facebook and Instagram were deliberately designed to keep kids hooked. The case, part of a broader multistate push over youth mental health and data practices, could influence how the social media giant operates nationwide, including for local teens and families here.
