• Waymo Expands Service to Entire Peninsula (machronicle.com) — Waymo’s driverless ride-hailing service now covers the entire Peninsula, including Menlo Park and local schools like M-A, giving students and residents a new way to get around without a human driver. City officials say Menlo Park has been in ongoing communication with Waymo about safety as the service quietly expands, though access, pricing, and occasional traffic issues still limit who can realistically use it. 
• Sainthood effort begins for Mother Antonia, the nun who chose to bring Gospel behind bars (catholicreview.org) — A Menlo Park–based Catholic nonprofit, the Center for Sainthood Studies, is helping launch a canonization effort for Mother Antonia, a nun who chose to live inside Tijuana’s La Mesa prison to serve inmates. Her community continues her work with prisoners, the sick, and the poor while gathering stories to support her sainthood cause. The process is temporarily paused as Tijuana awaits a new archbishop.
• Founder of Mental Health Startup Has Epic Public Breakdown, Tries to Start Fire, Flees in Tesla, Crashes (futurism.com) — A Menlo Park resident who founded a mental health startup was arrested after an alleged chaotic incident at a Saratoga winery, where authorities say he tried to start a fire and crashed his Tesla into parked cars. No serious injuries were reported, but the episode raises uncomfortable questions about a local entrepreneur tied to the fast-growing online therapy industry.
