A 19-year-old man was injured in a shooting in East Palo Alto Friday afternoon, police said.
The victim told police he was walking to his car on Gardenia Way shortly before 1 p.m. when he heard gunfire and realized he had been hit, according to Detective Sgt. Angel Sanchez.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his lower left leg that is not considered life-threatening.
No arrests had been made as of this afternoon and no description of a suspect or suspect vehicle was immediately available, Sanchez said. -Bay City News
