First Week of New Oyster Point Ferry Service is Free

You can reserve your seat now for a free ferry ride across the Bay.

 

Ferry service will launch on June 4 between South San Francisco and the East Bay, and for the first week, trips will be free.

Millbrae residents who wish to take advantage of the free ride , but only one option would make a round trip by boat possible: departing South City at 7:20 a.m. and returning at 5:40 p.m.

The ferry will operate on weekdays only, between South San Francisco, Alameda and Jack London Square in Oakland.

The ride will take between 40 and 50 minutes, and the ferries offer free WiFi, food and beverage for purchase, and room for 30 bicycles. Free parking is available near the ferry terminal. Genentech and the Peninsula Congestion Relief Alliance will provide shuttles from Oyster Point to major employers.

A one-way adult fare will be $7, and Clipper cards will be accepted.
