Police Blotter: Suspicious Man Inquisitive of Bank Layout

Monday, Sept. 19
9:49 a.m. 1300 block of Manzanita Dr. Various golf clubs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle. Suspect was not caught.
1:38 p.m. 600 block of Capuchino Dr. A couple was involved in a physical dispute at the Bayhill Shopping Center in San Bruno. Officers later showed up at the man’s home and determined it was a mutual fight. Police are forwarding the report to the district attorney’s office for review.

12:46 p.m. 139 S. El Camino Real. The manager of First Republic Bank reported that a suspicious man, described as professionally dressed, inquired about the bank’s layout, cue lines and teller operations. The man said he builds banks and was visiting from Los Angeles. Other banks in the area were contacted.
4:01 p.m. 5 S. Broadway. Four Mills students were allegedly smoking marijuana. Two were in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Their parents were contacted and they were released with warnings.
