150-Foot Marin Cliff Plunge Victim Rescued
The victim suffered minor injuries and was transported by Medic-4 to Marin General Hospital.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Firefighters rescued a person who plunged from a 150-foot Marin cliff over the weekend, authorities said.
The Southern Marin Fire District and Marin County Fire agencies responded at around 5:10 a.m. Sunday to a report a victim fell over the edge of Battery Spencer.

After the first arriving unit determined the victim was conscious, crews set up a rope system and were able to rescue the victim, the Southern Marin Fire District wrote on its Facebook page.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was transported by Medic-4 to Marin General Hospital.

“Excellent job to all the crews involved!” the agency said.
“The skills to coordinate and communicate in rescuing the victim is a testament to the professionalism and teamwork our agencies bring to the community on a daily basis.
“Southern Marin Fire District would like to remind residents, community members & tourists to please stay away from the cliffs’ edge. Pay attention to warning signs. They are there for a reason.”
