4th of July Parade & Picnic Volunteers Needed: The continued success of this event depends on the many volunteers who generously share part of their holiday weekend to make this possible. Here are areas we need volunteers for and approximate numbers of people and times. Parade monitors (3) - 10am- organize, judge and award prizes for participants Transportation (2) - 8am- transport supplies, food etc. to Stolte Grove Food Prep and Service (12-15) 9am- clean and start grill, shuck corn, slice watermelons, lay out tables, serve etc. Ticket sales (2) - 10:30am- sell food and beverage tickets at start of parade and at Stolte Grove Decorations (3-4 )- night before- decorate Stolte Grove, set up tables, garbage cans etc. Clean up (4-6) - after event, tear down and transport supplies back to storage at Community Center Pie Making (1) - 10:30am- last year we sold individual pie slices and it was a hit- this person just has to delegate to bakers!
