Author Robert Skip Sandberg will discuss his book, Steps, Lanes and Paths of Mill Valley at 7:30 p.m. at the Belvedere-Tiburon Public Library.
The book describes how Mill Valley was planned as a "pedestrian paradise" 120 years ago. Sandberg's talk and slideshow will feature historical photographs and center on the city's network of pedestrian pathways throughout the hills, forest and bayside. He'll also focus on the Dipsea Race, with photos of the course from start to finish.
