Today, Santa and Mrs. Claus will fly into Mill Valley with a bag full of toys for 40 4-8-year-olds enrolled in the Performing Stars music and dance program.
Hosted by Aaron and Tiffany Singer, owners of Seaplane Adventures, each child will receive a toy and book of their choice, get to take a photo with Santa, and enjoy homebaked cookies by the Guiding Stars Grandparents Group.
This kicks off the 15th Annual Holiday Toy Drive, which Mill Valley firefighter Dan Appleton is deeply involved with every year. Performing Stars of Marin organizes distribution of about half of the more than 600 toys collected throughout Southern Marin each holiday season.

New unwrapped todays for the annual drive are being accepted until Sunday, December 23, and can be dropped at the Mill Valley fire station.
