MARIN COUNTY, CA — Deputies seized two guns, ammunition, drugs, and a cache of jewelry after investigating a parked car early Tuesday in Strawberry, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.

Officials said deputies noticed the vehicle on Redwood Highway Frontage Road a few minutes after 1 a.m. As they approached the car, investigators said they saw a woman who appeared to be using drugs. The deputies spoke with the woman until her boyfriend returned from a nearby store.

Investigators said a search of the vehicle turned up suspected drugs, drug paraphernalia, an "unserialized AR-15 style rifle," loaded pistol, multiple magazines and ammunition. Deputies also reported a "large volume" of jewelry. Investigators were unsure whether the items were stolen and took them to determine if they were linked to a crime.
