Mama's Has the Best Mother's Day Brunch in Town, Readers Say

owner Candace Paine has no shortage of tales to tell from her 28 years of owning the eclectic Miller Ave. restaurant.

There are the singing waiters and waitresses, the bevy of celebrity customers and coming downstairs from his second floor office to sand one of his trademark toilet seat guitars on the restaurant's tables. 

But for Paine, the best moments are when she sees a customer who's been coming to Mama's since they were little bring in their own littles ones.

"Everything in this place is real and it feels like home to people," she says.

That feeling carried over to Mill Valley Patch readers, who voted Mama's as the best place for a Mother's Day brunch in this week's edition of our Readers' Choice series.
