Bay Area Man Accused Of Battery On Bus: Police

A man became upset after he realized he had boarded the wrong bus, police said.

MILL VALLEY, CA — Police arrested a man who shoved someone after he discovered he had gotten on the wrong bus and became upset Sunday in Mill Valley.

At around 10:45 a.m., Mill Valley Police Department officers said they responded to a report of a battery that had happened on a Golden Gate Transit bus in downtown Mill Valley.

Police said witnesses told them a passenger became upset after realizing he had boarded the wrong bus and began threatening passengers and shoved someone.

Witnesses described the suspect, who had left the area on a bicycle before officers arrived, police said. Minutes later an officer found the suspect and identified him as Terrence Edward Reynolds, 47, of San Rafael, police said.

Officers said while searching Reynolds they found suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Police said they booked Reynolds into the Marin County Jail and he was charged with battery, criminal threats, possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony possession of narcotics with priors.
