18-Year-Old Arrested After Shooting Man In The Back In Marin City: Police
An 18-year-old Larkspur man was arrested on a charge of attempted murder in connection to a Marin City shooting earlier this month.
MARIN CITY, CA — An 18-year-old Larkspur man is behind bars after being arrested for attempted murder in the shooting of a man in Marin City earlier this month, the Marin County Sheriff's Office said Friday.
The shooting occurred in the early morning of August 4. The victim was with friends on the 200 block of Drake Avenue when he was shot in the back. He was seriously injured and has since been released from a local hospital, deputies said.
Following an investigation, detectives identified Anthony Cozart, 18, as a suspect and arrested him. He was booked into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder and is being held on $500,000 bail, according to the sheriff's office.

Cozart was arrested Wednesday after authorities spotted him walking in Marin City, deputies said.
