Mill Valley Event Aims To Create A Better World

The city's Earth Day celebration will feature art, games, and music.

MILL VALLEY, CA — A Mill Valley event scheduled to be held later this month promises an afternoon of springtime fun for those of all ages. But the main goal of the city’s Earth Day celebration is working to create a better world.

Mill Valley’s Earth 2050 event is scheduled to be held April 24 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Mill Valley Community Center.

The event will feature art, games, and music.

Admission to the event is free, but registration is required. Children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

“You will learn about actions we can take to build a more just and sustainable world, such as: use clean energy, eat sustainably, live lightly and build healthy communities,” city officials said in a statement announcing the event.

“Bring your family, friends and neighbors for this fun celebration of what we can do together to protect our environment and our future.”
