Mill Valley Event Aims To Help Residents Access Digital Resources

MILL VALLEY, CA — The Internet offers virtually limitless resources if you know where to look.
But for those more likely to use Rand McNally than Google maps to get around, a Mill Valley Library program aims to bridge the digital divide.
The library’s Welcome Aboard: Movies and Databases event scheduled for later this week aims to help residents learn to stream films and access newspaper articles, among other online resources.

“What if we told you that you can stream a selection of notable films and documentaries and Great Courses lecture series for free with your library card? And that you can comb a vast trove of newspaper articles, language learning lessons, and educational resources while you're at it?” the Mill Valley Library said in a statement.

The event is scheduled for 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the library’s Creekside Room (the library is located at 375 Throckmorton Ave.).
