Mill Valley Invites Input In Selection Of New City Manager
The City Council on Monday formally introduced Heather Renschler, who is leading the search for Mill Valley's next city manager.
MILL VALLEY, CA — If there’s anything you want Mill Valley to know as it pursues its next top administrator, the city is inviting you share it.
Mill Valley is inviting residents to contact the leader of a public sector executive job search firm it commissioned to conduct the search to replace outgoing outgoing City Manager Alan Piombo.
Piombo who announced his retirement earlier this month. He plans to will step down at an unspecified date this fall, according to a news release announcing his retirement. Piombo's retirement culminates a 31-year career of public service.

The City Council at a regular meeting Monday formally introduced Ralph Andersen & Associates CEO Heather Renschler.
Renschler serves as company's "project director and lead consultant on high-profile national recruitments, including many of a sensitive and critical nature," according to her company’s website bio.
