Marin County Police Arrest Minor In Connection To Hit-And-Run Crash

Mill Valley Police said a minor was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a hit-and-run crash early Sunday morning.

MILL VALLEY, CA — Mill Valley police said they arrested a minor on suspicion of driving under the influence, following a hit-and-run crash involving multiple parked cars Sunday.

Early morning Sunday, MVPD officers said they responded to a report of a crash involving parked cars on the 100 block of Miller Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found multiple parked cars had been struck by another car that, after an initial investigation, police determined had fled the scene before officers arrived, police said.

A short time later, police said they found the involved car and the driver elsewhere within the City of Mill Valley. Police said they determined that the driver was a minor and suspected they were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

Police said they arrested the driver for suspicion of driving under the influence and hit-and-run.

No injuries were reported, police said.

Due to the driver’s age, and the ongoing investigation, no further information is available at this time, police said.
