Mill Valley Music Festival's Inaugural Success Prompts 2023 Talk

Festival organizers say they're "feverishly" working to make the festival an annual event.

MILL VALLEY, CA — Sometimes, ideas that sound good on paper don’t always work out in the real world. Other times, it’s the other way around.

Organizers of the inaugural Mill Valley Music Festival left nothing to chance planning the event, enlisting a loaded lineup that included three-time Grammy Award winner Ben Harper.

The sold-out May 7 festival attracted more than 5,000 attendees for a day of family-friendly fun, and organizers are already gearing up for a likely return of the event next year.
